Dear Prayer Warriors,

At the risk of the English language, allow me to say that I am writing this ‘on the run.’  Not literally of course, but between trips I am at the office for two days early this month.  We thank the Lord for being busy, for all that He sends our way.

We are pleased to announce the birth of Eden Joy on February 21, born to Aaron and Nicole Shipe. At last report, mother and daughter were doing fine; this is now four daughters and two sons for the Shipe family.  They will fit in well in East Africa, where a normal family has been eight children (and a family commonly expects to lose two or three children to disease by their fifth birthday).  Congratulations!

At this moment, Peter and Charo Torres (heading for Spain) are at the office, and it is wonderful to see them.  Prefield ministry has been picking up for them, and they are encouraged.  They have also told me that the country of Spain is suffering much worse economically than we are here – their estimate of an unemployment level is 20%!  I know that Peter and Charo have been praying for revival in Spain for some time (as have I); who knows what the Lord may do?

In France, Jared and Rebekah Stevenson are settling in, and Rebekah is hoping that she will soon be able to begin French language lessons.  For those of you who have not visited France, the French are very proud of their language, and want it to be spoken WELL.  Any foreign missionary has to have the native language; in France it is perhaps more important than most.

All of us are busy, that is modern life.  We dare not be TOO busy to pray.  In particular, we need to pray for revival.  As many have pointed out, revival needs to begin with me, with US.  This solemn duty is too important to leave to others; our world is dying, people enter eternity every single day.  Many of them enter without Christ and utterly without any hope at all.  Amongst our ‘busyness’, our various businesses, let us challenge ourselves anew to pray, to give, and to go as the Lord directs.  HE will bless us for it!

Your fellow prayer-warrior,
