Beloved Brethren,

As I write this, it is still the month of March, but it is GLORIOUS outside; the sun is out, the grass is growing, and one thinks of spring.  Pagan mythology of course saw this time of year as the earth coming to life again, but we know differently; this is the time of year when we celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord!

It is the greatest ‘story’ of all time … but it is not just a story.  It is historical fact.  The Lord Jesus Christ “was delivered for our offenses, and raised again for our justification” Rom 4.25).  Yes, He was “crucified through weakness” (2 Cor 13.4), but it was according to the predetermined plan of God.  Rather than a failure on God’s part, it was planned.  How thankful we are for that!  Otherwise, we would all still be in our sins (1 Cor 15.17).  We are not in our sins, we have been GLORIOUSLY delivered!

The ‘greatest story every told’ is too often the greatest untold story.  There are still literally billions who have never heard, many of whom have never even heard the Name of Jesus.  Sad but true. There are many hindrances to be sure; there are no excuses. Each of us has to do our part, however many and varied the hindrances may be.

We have been thrilled recently to see Aaron and Nicole Shipe (and their six children) at the office. The Lord willing, they expect to be out to Tanzania later this year, as their support is moving along nicely.  Keep praying!  Others continue to make progress as well (the Frizzell and Torres families).  Hindrances?  Sure. As the Apostle Paul put it so eloquently:

For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge,
that if one died for all, then were all dead:
and that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth
live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them
and rose again. (2 Cor 5.14-15).

We are ever so thankful for all that you do for GFF.

Sincerely in Christ,
