Dear Prayer Warriors,

I am 'not quite' writing this letter on the run, but the next few weeks there will be a significant amount of running! However, there is ALWAYS enough time to tell ALL of you how much we appreciate you, your million-and-one acts of kindness, praying for us, and supporting All of us. Thank you so much.

However much we may move, the work of the Lord goes on as planned by Him. HE has the keys to life, death, and eternity. While the world is rushing hell-bent [quite literally] towards an eternity without Christ, our Lord remains unchanging. His Nature is unchanging; His Grace is immutable, and His offer of Salvation in Christ Jesus is for every living human being TODAY. My heart could break when I think of all those who do not know of Christ, and I can only imagine how God's heart must break as well. [The Lord] "will have all men to be saved" (1 Tim 2.4a); our ministry is to bring as many 'into the fold' as the Lord allows.

As I prepare to go to Asia, I think of the areas of the world where significant non-Christian populations are. It comes as a surprise to many that Europe is one of those areas. Yet there are 'native' Europeans who come to the United States to raise missionary support to work in Europe - GFF has some European workers and so do other mission agencies. But what will they do if the churches of America do not remain strong? Some statistics tell us that as many as 75% of ALL American churches are either not progressing or failing/shrinking. There has not been a more important time in our history for churches to be planted in these United States than right NOW. The Gospel will work anywhere, everywhere, anytime and all the time. We simply need to get it out!

For a moment, think of American church-planters like Ted (Sandy) Ball, Don (Ann) Herb, Charles (Sandy) MacDonald, and others who assist churches, like John and Kim Caputo. We need many more like them, many more. The only answer to the 'culture wars' in the United States, the only answer to man's greatest need is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Nothing else will save; changed lives will produce a biblically sound culture.

THAT is worth 'running for,' working at, and praying diligently for!
