Michael & Valerie Gay

Both Michael and Valerie were born into Christian homes & saved early in life. Valerie’s parents (Ted & Sandy Ball) were missionaries with GFF in the United States when she was a young girl, and Valerie grew up ‘thinking missions.’ As a teenage girl, the Lord began to give her a burden for Québec, never realizing that one day she would go as a missionary!

Michael grew up in rural Kansas in a sound, Bible-believing church. He was also burdened for Quebec as a teenager, having never met Valerie until they met in college. Michael & Valerie were engaged their last year of college, and married after one year of graduate school. Their intention then, as now, was to head to Quebec as church-planting missionaries with their three children, Emilie, Micah, and Anastasia. For the moment they are on medical leave due to Valerie's Lyme disease.
