Missionary Enrichment and Debriefing

Debriefing is a confidential, facilitated opportunity for a missionary to unpack and process their most recent term of service on the mission field. It is an opportunity to sit with safe people, in a safe place, and engage in safe conversation.

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose".

- Romans 8:28

"The best coffee in town! It's awesome!"

- John Evans

"It's my absolute favorite place to go!"

- Greg Smith
What is Debriefing?

During debriefing, we are asking these questions...

Where have you been?

Through debriefings, we will take a moment to reflect on your most recent season of ministry. What were some of the highlights and accomplishments? How did you see God at work through your efforts? What successes or answered prayers should be celebrated?

At the same time, we will consider the challenges you encountered. Were there any goals that were not fully realized or areas where expectations were not met? What lessons did you learn, and how might those experiences help shape and strengthen your ministry moving forward?

Where are you now?

Through debriefing, we will take time to reflect on where you are today. How are you doing emotionally, spiritually, and physically? What responsibilities or challenges are weighing most heavily on you right now? What are the primary sources of stress or pressure in this season of life and ministry?

At the same time, we will consider the blessings God has given you. What accomplishments, answered prayers, or ministry opportunities have brought you the greatest joy? As you navigate this season of transition, how are you adjusting to the changes, and in what ways have you seen God's faithfulness through them?

Where are you going?

As you look toward the future, we will discuss questions such as: are there any upcoming changes or transitions on the horizon? Are there specific resources, support, or assistance that would help you prepare for what lies ahead?
What opportunities or milestones are you most excited about in the coming season? As you consider the next chapter of ministry, do you feel spiritually, emotionally, and practically prepared for what God is calling you to? Are there any areas where additional encouragement, training, or prayer would help you move forward with confidence?
