The Open Door
June 2021
GFF wishes to express our deep admiration and ongoing appreciation for all those of our country’s armed forces. Our active military, honored veterans, and memorialized fallen—we value their role in “establishing justice and ensuring domestic tranquility” in the land we love and call home! (Preamble to the U.S. Constitution)
Our on-going independence gives us much freedom as burdened believers to carry the light of the glorious Gospel to the sin-soaked and rebellious regions of the lost world. Our mobility is because of God’s favor, most assuredly, but a part of his favor has been reflected in our country’s autonomy. Therefore, recognizing the sacrifice of our armed forces as well as that of their families is both necessary and reasonable. We thank God that He has chosen to set before us “open doors” through which we can be actively engaged in His Righteous cause throughout the world. Those who are damned need to be delivered; the delivered need to be discipled; the discipled need to be drafted into the service of drawing others to the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. May we continue to labor faithfully in God’s service as we trust in Him to keep the door for missionary service open at the time in which we live.
Thank you for your prayers!
Asking of Him! (Ps. 2)
